Introducing the Company:

Sina Chemical Industries Company (public joint stock) is a Company with 100% private ownership registered in the Computerized Monitoring System of Securities and Stock Exchange Organization.

The aforesaid Company has been registered at Tehran Department for Registration of Companies and Intellectual Properties under Reg. No.: 53430 on Sept. 02, 1984 and commenced operation on Sept. 23, 1990.   

Field of Activities of the Company:

“Activities in direction of establishment of subset intermediate chemical units of Methanol consisting of Formaldehyde , Hexamine, Para-Formaldehyde, Urea Resins, Melamine, Phenol-Formaldehyde as well as other chemical industries and putting into operation of them, importation and exportation of raw materials and industrial machineries relevant to the field of activities of the Company; investment and management in other companies; fulfillment of all local and foreign commercial affairs, and giving technical and engineering services to other companies”.

The Company was established at “Kilometre-28 of Shiraz-Isfahan Road” and in a plot of land with 80,000.00 square metres of surface area.

Considering the need for chemical industries in our Country, in 1990, the first Unit of Formalin-Production Unit, and in the year 1991, the first  Hexamine Unit, was put into operation.

Subsequently, the Company, by taking advantage of its Revers Engineering know-how, succeeded to copy the Formalin and Hexamine Units.

At the same time, thanks to potential technical scientific capabilities, the programme for establishment of Para-Formaldehyde Units was put in development plan of the Company, which is currently working with the capacity of 5,000 Tons per year. At the moment, this Unit is the only unit for production of powder Para-Formaldehyde in Iran. It is worth to mention that, a Project for development of the new Para-Formaldehyde Unit with the capacity of 10,000 Tons per year is currently in construction stage, which, its First Phase will be put into operation with the capacity of 5,000 Tons in the first half of the year 1395 (2016) and by commissioning of the Second Phase, total production capacity will reach to 15,000 Tons per year.

Capabilities:

Sina Chemical Industries Company has the record on scientific management and is the founder of implementation of chemical units for the production of Formalin and its derivatives based on reverse engineering technical know-how in Iran.

Engineering Centre consists of Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Documentation, Milestone Standards for Preparation of Feasibility Plans Sections. Meanwhile, Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, Design, Fabrication and Transportation of Equipment, Machineries, Installation and Commissioning abilities are among capabilities and facilities available in the Company.

Sina Company always proceeds to systematic review, extension and development of its activities through benefiting from the experiments and specialties of graduated, experienced youths and through establishment of the strong engineering substructures, and by taking advantages from the utility surplus capacities such as for water, electricity, steam, gas, cooling systems, process water, software systems of modern management, continuous and effective training of the personnel and paying attention to creative human force, upon planning the short-term, middle-term and long-term activities with performing Diagnosis and Balance Score Card Systems.

Environmental Protection Charter:

Management of the Company has paid special attention to the environmental effects of this industry as from establishment date, and believes that, environmental protection and preservation has special importance in direction to sustainable development and continuous improvement. In direction of realization of such policy, implementation of environmental management system based on ISO 14001:2004 Standard in connection with the following objectives, have always been under purposeful consideration:

1. Observance of environmental requirements, rules and regulations, and endevour in improvement and development of scopes of standards and legal requirements;
2. Prevention and elimination of water, air and soil pollutions, struggle in preventing the waste of natural resources and emission of pollutants impacting the environment, through measurement and control of pollutants;
3. Training of employees in order to provide them with information about how to comply with the legal commitments and paying attention to environmental aspects of activities, services and products of the Company;
4. Determination of macro and micro environmental objectives compatible with the environmental policies, and endevour in deployment of the mentioned objectives. Management of the Company, in direction of ascertainment on effectiveness of the mentioned system, has proceeded to assignment of the members of the Steering Committee and introduction of the representative of the Management, and believes that, upon intellectual agreement, intimacy and cooperation of all employees, effective and dynamic implementation of the system would be possible.
